Coaching is . . .
Among the many definitions of coaching, we love the concise and crisp definition given by Jenny Roger, who wrote that coaching “...has the sole aim of closing the gap between the client’s potential and performance...”
Each of us has potential that is not fully realized, either due to old, unquestioned approaches or efforts spent on areas misaligned with our inner values. The goal of coaching is to overcome these issues and support the attainment of full capabilities.
Our aim is to accompany you on your journey to becoming a more effective manager and leader by improving your emotional self-awareness, understanding your unique strengths and skills, defining and achieving your personal objectives, and reframing situations that may hinder your progress.
. . . and what about mentoring?
Mentoring is essentially coaching augmented. It involves applying management knowledge and experience to introduce specific professional frameworks and the ability to question and challenge the client to foster awareness and learning.
